Kate Hill Headdresses

Manchester-based milliner, Kate specialises in creating striking and beautiful bespoke hats & headdresses from her home studio in Sale. Kate graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Fashion Design, in 1998, and went on to work in theatrical costume for a leading design company; Stageworks Worldwide Productions. During her time there, she went on to work in the millinery department where she designed and made all the hats, headdresses, and harnesses for shows including Funny Girls, The Hot Ice Show, Eclipse, and many others.

Kate has been creating headwear for television, theatre, magazines, and fashion for over 20 years. As an ex-art design and technology teacher she also works alongside schools offering workshops for GCSE art students.
